Generative AI adoption fueled much of this acceleration, registering a year-over-year surge of 141.7%, according to the report's findings.
The analysis determined that China's internet ecosystem achieved "significant progress" throughout the 2021–2025 timeframe, characterized by enhanced innovation capacity, more extensive technological deployment, and broadened digital access across demographics.
